Multitasking increases my hyperactivity!

As my brain is the gift that keeps on giving, yesterday I unlocked a new understanding🥴
After my last hour of work I felt that my hyperactivity was on fire and I was in full sympathetic state.
I needed to move, so I went out, walked, biked, danced, co-regulated and then shifted back into ventral state.
Once there, I reflected back to the events leading to my hyperactivity and light bulb moment💡!!!
I found that, often, I trigger my hyperactivity when I multitask.. who knew! 😅
I mean, my brain loves a bit of multitasking ‘cos it’s fast, I am gamifying the task and gets me in hyperfocus…But let’s be honest, my brain is probably not fully designed for prolonged multitasking so I then “pay” the price with an overstimulated body!
Why is this helpful? ‘Cos now I am aware of this and I can choose if multitasking will serve me well or not. And if I decide that I want to do it for a long time, I will be aware of the price to pay 😌.
With Glimmers,
Fran
